THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
| MS. JUDI FREED-SIEGFRIED
Ms. Judi Freed-Siegfried has been involved with dance
all her life as her family has owned and operated dancing schools in South
Carolina for over 40 years. A dancer and choreographer, Ms. Freed-Siegfried
majored in dance at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri where she received a
Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (B.F.A.). After graduation she then received a
teaching assistantship to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas where
she obtained her Master of Fine Arts Degree (M.F.A.) in ballet. She has served
on the faculty at Coker College in Hartsville, South Carolina teaching jazz and
ballet and is currently on the faculty at the University of Central Florida in
Orlando, Florida where she has taught tap, ballet, jazz, and modern for the past
12 years.
Throughout the years, Ms. Freed-Siegfried continues to attend numerous workshops
and conventions, and studies in New York or California in order to bring her
students the latest dance instruction. Her students continue to win top awards
at many dance competitions on the regional and national levels and have appeared
on local and national television broadcasts.

JANICE STERN
Ms. Janice Stern has been teaching acrobatics and
dance for over twenty years. A native of New Jersey, she resided in North
Carolina for ten years where she owned and operated a dance and gymnastics
studio before relocating to Orlando. She received her training at the
Dance Educators of America Teachers Training school at the University of
Kentucky, Central Piedmont Community College, and North Carolina School of the
Arts. Janice has coached numerous students to receive top overall awards
and achieve careers in dance performance and education. She has received
national recognition as Top Choreographer for Acrobatic Dance and is one of the
initial Star System Dance Teachers Hall of Fame Inductees. She has
previously performed in a USO troop and many theater productions as well as
serving as the talent adviser and a board member for Miss America Preliminary
Pageant. She is credited with establishing a talent search program in
conjunction with her community arts council.
MISS. DIANE HASENBANK
Miss Diane Hasenbank has been dancing for over twenty years now, During
that time she has spent over thirteen years in competition, regionally and
nationally. She was in the movie Cape Fear, has danced back up for
Rockapella and has been on the Spanish TV show Caliente.
Diane has graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in
Exceptional Education. Along side of working at UPAC, she now works at Hagerty High School and is the
coach for the dance team.
MISS. PATRICIA MARQUEZ
Miss
Patricia Marquez began dancing at a very early age. There she was a member
of the Performing Artist Company in which she participated in numerous
presentations and dance conventions. She graduated from the University of
Central Florida with a degree in Psychology and Public Relations. She is a
choreographer for the Psi Mu chapter of Chi Omega sorority and has choreographed
the Christmas show for St. Mary Magdellan Catholic Church.

MISS. MELISSA RUIZ
Starting at the age of four and choreographing by the age of fourteen.
Melissa began her training in ballet, jazz, and hip hop in Miami, FL. She later
moved her studies to Palm Beach, FL where she began teaching and choreographing
jazz and hip hop at the age of 18. Her desire to perform led her to
Orlando, FL which gave her the opportunity to start her career. Melissa is
creator and founder of StreetStylz traveling dance workshop and Underground
Dance Conventions.
MS. KATRINA JUDY
Ms. Katrina
Judy grew up dancing in Orlando where she studied ballet, pointe, modern, jazz,
tap, and acrobatics. She received a bachelor of Science degree in Dance
from Jacksonville University and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from
Florida State University. During college, Katrina performed with the
Jacksonville Ballet Theater, Florida Ballet Theater, and the Tallahassee Ballet
Company. For the past seven years, Katrina has been teaching dance in
Orlando and plans to do so for many years to come.
