Welcome Back and Tid Bits! PICTURES!
Welcome back, looks like we are off to a great fall. Just wanted to remind everyone about the makeup meeting over the weekend of October 4th! Make sure you get your scheduled times from Lauren. I finally got my camera to upload my pictures from last year and I'm posting my favorite ones right now. Here is our T-Shirt making party for Relay for Life. That was such an amazing time. Inspite of the rain that night, it was fun... Enjoy them! (if anyone wants to email me pictures I will post them - email jennifer@sosweetboutique.com).

Relay For Life Info!
I just wanted to take the time to give you a brief overview of our community event, Relay for Life. Relay for Life is a fundraising event hosted by the American Cancer Society and it takes place here in Oviedo at Haggerty High School March 14th - 15th. We are busy creating TEAM UPAC and are hoping that you and your family will join us in making a difference. It is an all night event, but we are not asking that everyone stay for the duration of the event. If you can only come out for an hour or two, we would love to have you on our team. We will have a tent at the event where we will be selling items to raise money, conduct raffles, and some of the girls will be performing. In the next few weeks we will be posting the signup sheet for the walk times. It is our goal to keep a member on the track for the duration of the event. People can pair up to walk or families can walk together if they choose. There are several family activities, food, entertainment and fun booths at the event as well. To be a member of TEAM UPAC - Scroll Below where it states how to signup: **If you are unable to figure out how to join our team, please email me personally at Jennifer@sosweetboutique.comWe are asking for a minimum donation of $10 per person to join TEAM UPAC. We are also encouraging the children to raise more money. We understand that there is not a lot of time to do traditional fundraisers so we came up with a way that can help the children get involved and make a difference. We will have three prizes for our top fundraisers! We are asking children to speak to family members and close family friends to walk in honor or memory of someone special for a donation. They will then put that persons name on a t-shirt and wear it on the track when they walk at the event. A suggested donation amount is $20.00. But, please feel free to accept any donation amount. UPAC will then be hosting a T-Shirt making party so the children can share their stories. The American Cancer Society will be giving out shirts for the event if you raise $100 or more and register online prior to 2/11/08. UPAC lost a very special dance company member a few years ago, Lexi Mathis to Leukemia. Some of the company members still remember Lexi and want to share her story and her memories. Cancer affects so many of us whether we are a survivor or have lost a loved one. Whether we are 5 or 65 years old, we all will be affected by cancer somehow. Please join Team UPAC or make a donation today! If you are unable to attend the event and would like for us to honor or share a memory of someone, please contact me and I will make sure this happens. Thank you, Jennifer Howe Rogan, UPAC Co-Captain Jennifer@sosweetboutique.com

Tis the season to dance!
It is hard to believe that we are full-fledge into the holiday season. UPAC has already made guest appearances at the preschools, Great Day in the Country and Winter Springs holiday parade where they captivated their audiences with their bright smiles and holiday spirit. Spending time making *fun memories* with the UPAC dance family is important, and we hope your children are enjoying performing for the community as much as we are enjoying them. We still have more to come with the upcoming Winter Park Parade and a few more appearances along the way. Want to find out how your child can get involved? Ask the front desk! Thanks so much for all the volunteers that are gift wrapping to help the dance company raise funds, we appreciate your dedication to your child’s dance education. Be sure to sign your children up for our annual holiday *parents night out* party. We will have pizza and other festive holiday yummies. It’s a great opportunity for the parents to go out to dinner or catch up on their holiday shopping. For more information, there is a sign-up sheet in the front lobby! On behalf of the UPAC family we hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday!

Have your Birthday Party at UPAC!
We offer a variety of fun dance party packages to make each party memorable for every birthday child. You just bring the cake & juice boxes and we throw the party! Each party is scheduled for approximately for one hour and forty-five minutes. You and your child select your dance theme prior to the birthday party. Themes to choose from are Prima Ballerina, Hip Hop Diva or Jazz Queen. The party will include a structured 45 minute dance class that consists of warm-up and a choreographed dance routine. Once the dance routine is complete your children will have the opportunity to raid our costume trunks for a special performance where we welcome photographs and video taping. Face painting and games are available at your request (no extra charge). We also provide all dance themed paper products (napkins, plates and forks). You bring the cake and juice boxes and the kids of course! For more information call Ashli at UPAC, 407-366-5779
